Welcome Alana Ruakere as new Chair of HTPKT

𝗧𝗮𝗶 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘂, 𝗧𝗮𝗶 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶 – 𝗔 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱

We would like to acknowledge Alana Ruakere, who has just been elected as the new Chair of He Toronga Pakihi ki Taranaki. Alana is no stranger to leadership – she’s the current CEO of Tui Ora, an artist, singer, poet, and a Winston Churchill Fellowship recipient. Her journey spans from championing mental health services to shaping the Crown’s response to abuse in care.

Her vision? Communities where whānau come first – places designed for wellbeing, creativity, and connection.
