E Hoa Clothing: Bringing Designs to Life with Connection and Care
For Natale business is about more than just merchandise—it’s about relationships, trust, and community. As the owner of E Hoa Clothing, Natale has built her business on the foundation of connection, ensuring her customers’ designs come to life with care and authenticity.
Natale’s career in merchandising and clothing production began in Australia. She worked for surfing brand Volcom Australia as a Receiving Supervisor before joining the Manly Sea Eagles in 2008, where she worked in the merchandising team. By 2012, she had progressed to an Executive Assistant and later became Acting Manager. After returning home to Taranaki, she later worked part-time at Rokket Teamwear and eventually running their Taranaki Francaise in Waitara until 2020.
E Hoa Clothing was born in 2020, reflecting Natale’s deep commitment to her customers. To her, clients are more than just business transactions — they are connections, friendships, and relationships built on trust. Her work is not only about creating apparel but about ensuring her clients’ brands are nurtured and represented authentically.
With the business growing, 2024 marked a major milestone as E Hoa Clothing moved into a larger premises on McLean Street in Waitara. This expansion allows room for embroidery, screen printing and Sublimation to now be done on site. Incorporating additional business from Xperteez Total Image has also extended her client base to the Coromandel and Waikato regions. She can now tailor uniforms for Individuals, Clubs, Schools, Iwi, Business and Workwear across all platforms right here on site.
Natale’s goals extend beyond business growth. She is passionate about creating employment opportunities that empower māmā and rangatahi, promoting self-determination (mana motuhake) within her community. She has worked on a term project with Manukorihi School for work experience and believes in giving back.
As a proud Māori businesswoman, she has learned the importance of asking for help, refining ideas, and embracing feedback as a tool for improvement.
To Natale E Hoa Clothing is more than just a business—it is a way to serve her community, understand her customers’ needs, and offer creative solutions that honour their visions.
